First day tour details;
Devrent (Imagination Valley) where you can see thousands of fairy chimneys and where you can see the formation stages of Fairy chimneys clearly. The reason why we call this valley as imagination valley is just because of some animal-like natural formations like Camel.
Zelve Open air museum which is based in 3 different valleys and where the first seminars to monks in Cappadocia were given. Zelve Open Air Museum which is one of the first inhabited and last abandoned villages of Cappadocia.
Pasabaglari (Monks Valley) where monks used to live in seclusion in fairy chimneys in rock cut rooms from 5th century up to 14th century and wandering through the vineyards of Fairy Chimneys village.
AVANOS is known pottery town where the longest river of Turkey KIZILIRMAK (Red River) pass through, leaving the red clay on its banks that is the raw material of Pottery since Hittites 2000 BC.
Goreme Open air Museum to see the best preserved churches of Cappadocia with the best preserved frescoes inside from the 10th-13th centuries and to witness the living art of Christian & Byzantine history on cave churches.
Uchisar Castle is the highest point of Cappadocia Region. It is about 1200 m. Complete your day with a spectacular display of color as the sun set over this beatiful wiew of valley and Erciyes Mountain.
Pigeon Valley which is large panorama valley continuing to Uchisar.Still pigeons live in the hole of cave.
Second day tour details;
Derinkuyu Underground City is the largest and the deepest Underground City in Cappadocia. where the Christian Communities led a communal life in Fear and Faith, hiding themselves from the Invasions.We go down untill 8 levels.
Ihlara Valley which is located by Mt Hasan which was one of the active volcanoes to cover Cappadocia with Lava. The walking here is 3 kms long and extremely enjoyable with the accomppany of the churches to see a bit earlier frescoes and the small stream called Melendiz.
Selime for taking pictures by the pinnacles where some of the filming of “Star wars” was located.
Agzikarahan Carvansarai: Make your stop on the silk route and see the mosque stables and sleeping chambers, where in ancient times, tradmen stayed overnight. We make some photo stop as well.
